Culture and Recreation Facilities Closed The City's Culture and Recreation facilities are closed indefinitely. Park spaces, trails and the dog park remain open to the public. SATURDAY JUNE 13, 2020 Come out for a family-friendly run, walk or hike at Elk Island National Park. Meet at the Wood Bison Trail Parking Lot at 9am (on the south side of the Yellowhead Hwy, turn south at the main entrance road to Elk Island Park). Sorry, for the late change. I just realized that most of the trails are still closed. This is a community event for all ages. Families and non-members welcome! BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY! Also, bring a lawn chair and coffee/tea for some post-exercise socialization outdoors.
Thursday Night Adult Training Program 7pm @ West River's Edge (Lower Chalet) This program will start up again in September 2020. Have a great summer!! Not a skier - not a problem! This program is for adults to get physically activity to prepare for the winter. All abilities welcome, no cost. Social get together after each session.
Ski Club Winter Activities Ski lessons for Children, Youth and Adults begin the first Sunday of January and run for 10 weeks.
