Please note that an individual must be a member of the club in order to register for participation in a program offered by the club.
These programs will start on the first Sunday of January.
Bunnies & Jackrabbits
The Bunnyrabbit program is for children in the “Active Start” stage (ages 4-5 as of Jan 1/21) (Children who are in or of Kindergarten age). The Jackrabbit program is for children in the “FUNdamentals” stage (ages 6-10) of Nordiq Canada skier development program. Both programs provide children with the skills and ability to learn to cross country. Ski equipment, boots and skis are available for lease from the ski club.
Lessons take place Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the months of January, February, and March of each year.
Youth On Skis
This is a program for both new and experienced skiers ages 7 - 13. Youth 14 years or older may register in adult progrmas. Skiers who are ages 7-9 are provided with a ski lessons, based on the CCC Bunnyrabbit and Jackrabbit skill development programs, but are fast-tracked by the coaches to their appropriate age level in Jackrabbits (a catch-up program) by the end of the ski season. In addition, skiers who are new and experienced, 10 and older will be provided with the opportunity to learn to cross country ski, reviewing basic ski technique and the opportunity to have fun together participating in ski tours, loppets and more.
Lessons take place Sundays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm during the months of January, February, and March of each year.
Track Attack
SWC has invited all youth FSNSC members (ages 10 – 16 years old) to join in their Track Attack training group that is doing dry-land training to prepare for the next ski season on Thursday nights from July 30 into September. More information on their winter program will be provided as it becomes available.

Volunteer Coaching
Opportunities to be a FSNSC coach or coach helper for these programs are available for adults and youth who have knowledge of skiing. Training will be provided. Honorariums are available for students.
